We are buzzing with holiday excitement! The Penguin Patch Holiday Shop is coming to Big Lake, giving our Hornet students a fun way to spread joy this season. Kids can shop for thoughtful gifts for 1-2 special people in their lives while learning the spirit of giving.
It’s a cheerful, easy, and heartwarming event that brings smiles to our school community!
COME PREPARED:
To make the holiday shopping experience efficient, please purchase a punch card BY FRIDAY, DECEMBER 5, AT 11:59 PM via Venmo, PayPal, or cash/check (in the school office only) in ANY EVEN DOLLAR AMOUNT.
PLEASE include your student's name(s), grade(s), and teacher's name(s) in the notes.
Gifts range from $.50 to $15 and can be previewed here.
On-site, day-of cash will NOT be accepted, and any unused funds will not be reimbursed.

PARENTS: We are looking forward to a great Penguin Patch shopping experience next week! Each school has slightly different procedures, so below is a quick overview of what to expect.
Liberty Elementary
Students will shop and purchase during their assigned time slot.
They will have about 20 minutes to shop.
Shopping begins at 8:20 am.
Independence Elementary (“Indy”)
Students will preview items on Monday.
Students will purchase on Tuesday.
They will have about 10 minutes each day for previewing and shopping.
If your child is unable to shop again on Tuesday, volunteers will make reasonable decisions to allow them to complete their purchase on Monday when appropriate.
